The Club is planning for our long awaited Overnight Outing to celebrate the New Year. A fun
and enjoyable time can be expected for adults and children, Golfers & Non-Golfers.

Date 15-16 Jan 2011 (Sat-Sun)
Destination Juldis Khao Yai Resort.
Price 3,000 baht for 2 (twin sharing)*
Price includes buffet dinner on 15 Jan 2011
Children below 10 years old FOC

Tentative Itinerary 15 Jan 2011
9.00 am Depart Bangkok for Khao Yai
12 noon Arrive in Khao Yai and lunch at
local restaurant (meal cost to be shared by participants)

1.30 pm Check In at Juldis Khao Yai Resort
2.00 – 5.00 pm - Games and Team Play for Everyone
6.30 pm Dinner

16 Jan 2011
7.00 am Tee Off for Golfers or Breakfast for Non-Golfers
8.30 am Hiking for Non-Golfers at Khao Yai Nature Reserve
11.00 am Return to Hotel for Non-Golfers
12 noon Check Out and proceed to Golf Course to meet up with
Golfers for lunch
2.00 pm Depart Khao Yai for Bangkok
5.00 pm Expected Arrival in Bangkok

For those who require transport, we will try to car pool. Kindly confirm your
participation as we need to confirm our bookings with the Resort to secure the rooms.

We will not proceed with the outing if the interest is lacking.

MALAYSIAN MONTHLYGOLF TOURNAMENT - DECEMBER 2010

The final Monthly Golf will be held on 18 December 2010 (Sat) at Uniland Golf Course. The occassion is also the Farewell Golf for En. Sabri Tahir. Please see attached details. Kindly contact Khun Maleeya at: sayanundh@hotmail.com for booking.

I would like further to inform you that after the golf game, during the prize giving ceremony and dinner, a mini entertainment (Karaoke) will be organized to celebrate the year end.

MALAYSIAN MONTHLY GOLF TOURNAMENT – DECEMBER 2010 (AMBASSADOR CUP) AND

FAREWELL GOLF GAME FOR MR. AHMAD SABRI MOHD TAHIR

I wish to inform you that the Sports and Welfare Club, Embassy of Malaysia, Bangkok will be organizing a final Malaysian Monthly Golf Tournament for 2010 and a Farewell Golf Game for Mr. Ahmad Sabri Mohd Tahir, Third Secretary (Consular/Visa), Embassy of Malaysia, Bangkok. The details of the tournament are as follows:

Date: 18 December 2010 (Saturday)

Registration Time: 1000 hours

Tee off Time: 1030 hours (Shortgun) Course B

Fee: 2,000 Baht – Inclusive of Green Fee, Caddy Fee and Meal-

(golf cart is not included, its fee is 600 Baht, one cart/two golfers)

2. Please be informed that Mr. Yeap Swee Chuan has been kind enough to sponsor the “Powermap Navigator” to any player who makes hole in one in any par 3, in every Malaysian Monthly Golf Tournament starting from December 2010 onwards.

3. The trophy presentation and dinner during the tournament will be held at the Club House after the golf game. In this regard, the Embassy of Malaysia, Bangkok will be sponsoring the trophies and prizes. The route to the golf club is as attached.

4. I sincerely hope that all Malaysians will be able to join this final month’s tournament and a farewell golf game to our good friends.

SUCCESSFUL KELAB MALAYSIA GOLF SESSION

Dear Members & Friends,

We are pleased to inform that we had another successful Golf session last Saturday @ Royal Golf & Country Club.

A new Champion was installed and he is none other than our very own En. Halmi bin Mohd Salim (who just returned 2 days before the event and in time to win the title). Runner Up was our friend from Brunei, En. Noor Haizamdin. Best Gross goes to Mr. Lim Boon Aun 41-37 (total 78).

As Double Peoria system was used for the tournament, the element of luck was crucial. FAREWELL GOLF ON 5TH. SEPTEMBER 2010

Dear Members and Friends,


We have been informed that our dear Ambassador, H.E. Dato' Husni Zai Yaacob (also Club Patron), will be returning to Malaysia soon. We are sad to see him and Datin Noorshiha leave but we are happy to note that Dato' Husni shall be taking up a higher posting back at Wisma Putra.



In his honour, the Embassy's Sports and Welfare Club has organised a farewell golf on 5 September 2010 (Sunday) at Windsor Park. Tee off: 12.39 pm. The event is to be followed by a dinner/buka puasa at Long Chim Restuarant in Suwintawong.
